Since its premiere in 1998, the Grand Chinese New Year Concert\u2014organised by Wu Promotion\u2014has grown into one of the world\u2019s most celebrated concert formats.<\/strong> Each year, during the Chinese Spring Festival, leading traditional Chinese orchestras perform in renowned venues across the West, presenting a rich tapestry of China\u2019s diverse musical cultures. Over the past 27 years, the concert has toured 27 countries, captivating more than 350,000 audience members in 80 prestigious venues.<\/p>\n Each year\u2019s orchestra reflects the impressive cultural and ethnic diversity of China. Audiences experience instruments from every region of the country\u2014from the resonant Morin Khuur<\/strong> of Inner Mongolia to the bright, lyrical Gaohu<\/strong> of Guangdong.
